Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a pioneer in the fast-casual dining industry, committed to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food with wholesome ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Established as a leader and innovator in the food industry, Chipotle operates restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Unlike many of its competitors, Chipotle owns and operates all of its North American and European restaurants, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to its core values. The company is well-known for its dedication to sustainable business practices, digital advancements, and delivering exceptional customer experience. Chipotle fosters a workplace culture centered on respect, diversity, and inclusion, making it an equal opportunity employer dedicated to providing fair employment regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status. Employees at Chipotle embrace a passion for serving fresh, handcrafted food daily without reliance on freezers, microwaves, or canned ingredients.

The opportunity at Chipotle presents not just a job but a potential career path with a brand that values internal growth and employee development. Chipotle offers positions for both full-time and part-time roles with competitive compensation starting from $16.50 to $17.50 per hour, supplemented by digital tips. The company provides comprehensive benefits like tuition assistance (covering up to $5,250 per year or 100% coverage for select degrees), free food during shifts, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and holiday closures. Chipotle emphasizes exceptional training to prepare employees to confidently handle various stations such as grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo. This supportive training environment enables employees from diverse experiences—whether coming from roles like dishwasher, server, or even no prior experience—to transition smoothly into the Chipotle work culture.

Working at Chipotle means joining a team that not only focuses on fast food but redefines the fast-food experience by prioritizing quality, sustainability, and service. The company encourages a friendly, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for helping and serving others as fundamental qualities for its team members. Chipotle’s culture nurtures continuous learning, career advancement, and engagement with industry-leading food practices. More than 80% of Chipotle managers started as crew members, demonstrating the company’s commitment to promoting from within. With a mission to make better food accessible to everyone, Chipotle presents a unique and rewarding opportunity to be part of a movement reshaping the future of fast food, farming, and food sustainability.
