Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a leading fast-casual restaurant chain that is dedicated to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made from wholesome ingredients. Unlike traditional fast-food experiences, Chipotle is known for its commitment to cooking fresh food by hand every day, without the use of freezers, microwaves, or can openers. As a company, Chipotle stands out by directly supporting efforts to shift the future of farming and food, emphasizing sustainability, digital innovation, and strong community values. With restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle operates all its locations in North America and Europe, showcasing a commitment to quality control and operational excellence.
At Chipotle, the employee experience is valued as much as the customer experience. Many employees begin their journey expecting just a paycheck but discover a rewarding career filled with opportunities to grow and develop professionally. The company provides exceptional training programs and clear advancement paths, with over 80% of managers promoted from Crew members. Whether you are experienced or new to the food service industry, Chipotle welcomes passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join their team.
The Crew Member role at Chipotle is essential to the brand’s mission of delivering great food and exceptional customer service. Crew Members are trained comprehensively to work confidently in various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo. This role requires individuals to prepare real food by hand and contribute toward creating the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that customers enjoy. Chipotle values diversity and inclusion, offering a people-first workplace where all team members are treated with respect and supported to reach their full potential.
Chipotle offers an attractive package of benefits for Crew Members, including full tuition assistance covering up to $5,250 annually for select degrees, free meals during shifts, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and holiday closures. The company supports both full-time and part-time roles, providing flexibility alongside competitive compensation. Working at Chipotle is not just a job but a chance to participate in a larger mission to make better food accessible to everyone while fostering a sustainable future for the food industry.
By joining Chipotle, employees become part of a values-driven organization focused on innovation, sustainability, and community impact. The company encourages all qualified applicants, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic, to apply. Chipotle is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities to ensure equal access throughout the hiring and employment processes.
