Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a leading fast-casual restaurant chain known for its commitment to serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients and without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Established as a pioneer in the fast-food industry, Chipotle operates restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Unlike many other large-scale food chains, Chipotle owns and operates all of its North American and European restaurants, ensuring a consistent, high-quality dining experience for its guests.
Chipotle is not just a place to eat but a movement towards cultivating a better world by transforming the traditional fast-food experience into one that is more mindful, ethical, and health-conscious. The company actively supports sustainable farming initiatives and continuously invests in technology and innovative business practices to make better food accessible to everyone. Chipotle’s employee culture is grounded in a people-first, values-driven approach that promotes inclusivity, growth, and respect. The organization is committed to fair employment practices and fostering a workplace environment where all team members can thrive regardless of their background or personal characteristics.
This entry-level role at Chipotle offers a unique opportunity to join a company that prioritizes both employee development and customer satisfaction. Whether you come with experience or without, Chipotle invests in comprehensive training programs to prepare you for work at various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo. The company prides itself on cooking food fresh daily with no freezers, microwaves, or can openers used in the kitchen, underscoring its dedication to real, high-quality ingredients.
As a team member, you will be expected to contribute to a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, providing exceptional customer service that keeps guests returning. Employees often find more than just a job at Chipotle—they build rewarding careers. Over 80% of Chipotle’s managers start from crew positions, which highlights the extensive opportunities for advancement and career growth. The position offers both full-time and part-time schedules, catering to a diverse workforce. Chipotle also provides an attractive benefits package including tuition assistance, free meals, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, and competitive pay.
This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment, passionate about serving people, eager to learn cooking skills, and looking for a supportive, inclusive workplace. The standard expectation is that employees be at least 16 years old and able to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location.
Joining Chipotle means becoming a part of a company that leads with purpose, innovation, and a commitment to crafting better food experiences. If you’re ready to be a part of a forward-thinking food service operation that's changing the industry one meal at a time, Chipotle invites you to apply today and start your journey with them.
