Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a prominent fast-casual restaurant chain renowned for its commitment to serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked real food made with wholesome ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Established with a purpose to cultivate a better world, Chipotle is dedicated to changing the traditional fast-food experience by supporting sustainable farming and shifting the future of food. The company operates across several countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, proudly owning and operating all its restaurants in North America and Europe, which is unique among its peers in the industry. Chipotle stands out not just for the quality of its food but also for its innovative approach in digital technology, sustainable business practices, and its continuous push towards making better food accessible to everyone.

Joining Chipotle is more than just accepting a job — it's embarking on a rewarding career journey. Despite being part of the fast food sector, Chipotle offers an environment where many employees who initially join for a paycheck evolve into experienced professionals with clear career growth paths. At Chipotle, over 80 percent of the management staff started as crew members, highlighting the company's commitment to internal advancement. New team members receive exceptional training to confidently perform all restaurant station roles including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo. This hands-on, fully engaged workforce approach ensures an atmosphere of friendliness and exceptional customer service which reflects the brand's core values.

The position is open to individuals from diverse backgrounds — whether you have prior experience as a dishwasher, cashier, server, host, bartender, cook, prep cook, or even if you are new to the food industry. Chipotle values enthusiasm, a passion for serving others, and a willingness to learn. Employees are encouraged to bring a friendly and enthusiastic attitude to work every day and embrace the opportunity to develop culinary skills. Working at Chipotle also means wearing many hats and becoming a vital part of a team dedicated to providing top-notch customer experiences. The company offers comprehensive benefits such as tuition assistance covering select degrees up to $5,250 per year, free food during shifts, medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, holiday closures, competitive compensation, and opportunities for both full and part-time work. This comprehensive benefits package aims to support employees’ well-being and career aspirations.

Chipotle values diversity and inclusion, encouraging qualified individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic to apply. The company also provides accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and other applicable laws ensuring an inclusive hiring process. Chipotle’s people-first culture fosters respect, inclusivity, and the opportunity for all employees to realize their full potential. Embracing these values, Chipotle continues to lead in the fast-casual dining sector while making a positive impact on communities and the environment. Whether you seek an entry-level role or an opportunity to grow, Chipotle offers a nurturing and dynamic workplace where passionate individuals can thrive.
