Job Description
Tom Lovelace Group is a reputable franchisee operating under the umbrella of Papa Murphy's, a well-known name in the pizza take-and-bake industry. As an independent business owner, Tom Lovelace Group manages its own wage and benefit structures separate from Papa Murphy's International, Inc. The franchisee is committed to providing a welcoming and efficient dining experience that aligns with the brand's core values: Quality, Service, Integrity, and Teamwork. Known for its fresh, handcrafted pizzas that customers bake themselves at home, Papa Murphy's emphasizes both product excellence and customer satisfaction. This establishment prides itself on fostering a positive work environment where employees are valued team members and contributors to the overall success of the store.
The Crew Member position at Tom Lovelace Group presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food service and customer interaction. This role is hourly paid, ranging from $7.25 to $10.00 per hour plus tips, reflecting both the base pay and the potential to earn additional income through gratuities. As a Crew Member, you will be directly involved in the daily operations of the store, ensuring that every guest receives outstanding service from the moment they enter until they leave. The position requires a proactive, team-oriented individual who maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency throughout their shift.
Crew Members are expected to be versatile, capable of working both front-of-house and back-of-house tasks. In the front-of-house, duties include welcoming guests warmly, managing orders via phone and online platforms, assisting guests with menu selections, wrapping pizzas, and processing payments accurately. These tasks require excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate cash registers and handle various transaction types including cash, checks, credit cards, and food stamps.
Meanwhile, back-of-house responsibilities involve preparing food items according to strict portion and quality guidelines, learning equipment operation such as mixers and sheeters, and maintaining inventory through proper rotation and storage of ingredients. Crew Members will contribute to the cleanliness and organization of work areas, supporting the overall hygiene and safety standards that Papa Murphy's enforces.
This role also demands a commitment to punctuality and professional appearance, including wearing a clean and wrinkle-free uniform. Crew Members must be prepared to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds and cleaning duties like sweeping and mopping. The job encourages personal development and teamwork, offering a supportive environment where employees can gain valuable skills in food handling, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Joining Tom Lovelace Group as a Crew Member means becoming part of a community dedicated to delivering quality food and service with integrity. It is ideal for those looking to start or advance a career in the food service industry while contributing positively to the customer experience. The company supports reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, reinforcing its commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity. Overall, this position is a full spectrum experience in restaurant operations that offers valuable training, tips, and a dynamic work environment focused on excellence.
