Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- Ability to communicate in the primary language(s) of the work location
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as lifting and carrying
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
- Desire to learn cooking and food preparation skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Passion for food and customer service
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to learn and follow food safety standards
Job Duties
- Prepare real food by hand at various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo
- Provide exceptional and friendly customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and dining area
- Support team members and assist with training as needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Promote Chipotle's mission and values in interactions with customers and colleagues
