Crew Members take customer orders, prepare food items such as sandwiches, chili, baked potatoes, and fries according to specific instructions, and operate cash registers with precision. Additionally, they ensure beverage stations are well-stocked and assist in the preparation and cleanup of the restaurant during opening and closing shifts.

Working as a Crew Member at Wendy's also means being physically capable of standing for long periods and performing tasks that involve bending, kneeling, and lifting weights between 25 to 50 pounds. The position requires familiarity with using restaurant equipment such as warmers, fryers, slicers, and grills, as well as headset communication tools to take customer orders and coordinate with team members effectively. Job Duties

  • Take orders from customers, personally and from intercom system, interfaces with customers and provides top quality service
  • Prepare, portion, and serve hot food orders per customer requests (sandwiches, chili, baked potato, fries, etc.)
  • Ensure all food orders are assembled correctly within stated time goals
  • Operate cash register according to cash operations policies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and fully stocked dining room, restroom, and work area
  • Assist in prepping restaurant for opening and closing
  • Use headset to take customer orders or to take or give direction
