Within this successful and expanding restaurant group, Wendy's is seeking motivated and customer-oriented Full-Time Crew Members to join their team. Wendy's is a leading fast-food restaurant chain known for its fresh, made-to-order hamburgers and commitment to providing outstanding service and guest courtesy that exceeds customer expectations. This role is fast-paced and requires individuals who are proactive and dedicated to offering “wow!” service by efficiently meeting quality, cleanliness, and service standards in a team environment.

The Full-Time Crew Member position at Wendy's involves a variety of responsibilities including greeting customers warmly, answering product questions, and assisting with suggestive sales. Crew members take customer orders accurately, manage queue flow effectively, and prepare food and beverages according to company standards. The role includes assembling food items on serving trays or for takeout orders, serving cold drinks, hot beverages, and desserts, processing payments accurately, and handling any customer questions or complaints with professionalism. Additionally, crew members play an important role in supporting kitchen operations by retrieving raw food stocks and maintaining tidy and orderly eating and serving areas. Following all company policies and safety procedures is critical to this role.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred but not required

  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
  • Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
  • Ability to perform operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables
  • Crew Leader Certification
  • Shift Supervisor Certification

Job Duties

  • Greets the customer
  • Suggestive sale and answer questions about products
  • Records the customer’s order
  • Stages customers in serpentine area to maintain a smooth customer flow
  • Selects requested food items from serving or storage areas and assembles items on serving tray or in takeout bag
  • Serves cold drinks, hot beverages, and desserts
  • Receives payment
  • Assists customers with questions or complaints
  • Retrieves raw food stock and places at appropriate station for preparation
  • Performs duties to prepare food
  • Maintains orderly eating and serving areas
  • Ensures that he or she follows all company issued policies and procedures
