The role in focus is for a Full-Time Crew Member at Wendy's. This position is integral to maintaining the smooth daily operations of the restaurant and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Job Requirements
- No prior experience or training
- Must be 16 years old or older
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to figure, handle, and feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
- Ability to work in an environment exposed to high heat from grill and fryer equipment and cooking oils
- Must be able to follow company policies and procedures
- Must have basic math and reading skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred but not required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Ability to perform operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables
- Crew Leader Certification
- Shift Supervisor Certification
Job Duties
- Greet the customer
- Suggest sale and answer questions about products
- Record the customer’s order
- Stage customers in serpentine area to maintain a smooth customer flow
- Select requested food items from serving or storage areas and assemble items on serving tray or in takeout bag
- Serve cold drinks, hot beverages, and desserts
- Receive payment
- Assist customers with questions or complaints
- Retrieve raw food stock and place at appropriate station for preparation
- Perform duties to prepare food
- Maintain orderly eating and serving areas
- Ensure that he or she follows all company issued policies and procedures
