Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain dedicated to cultivating a better world through responsibly sourced, classically cooked real food. Since its inception, Chipotle has distinguished itself by serving food quickly without compromising quality, avoiding artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. The company emphasizes a mission to make better food accessible to everyone while leading advances in digital technology and sustainable business practices. With locations throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle operates all its restaurants in North America and Europe, a distinctive approach for a company of its size. This strategic control allows Chipotle to maintain its high standards in food preparation and customer service across all locations.

At Chipotle, we believe that fast food does not have to mean a typical fast-food experience. Our restaurants prepare real food by hand every day with no use of freezers, microwaves, or can openers. This commitment ensures that every meal is fresh and crafted with care. The company fosters a culture of learning, growth, and evolution, engaging in conversations that support the future of farming and food sustainability. Our mission is not only about serving food but also about creating a positive impact on the environment and the communities we serve.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that values passion, enthusiasm, and dedication. Chipotle provides exceptional training and a clear career path for all employees, with over 80% of managers having been promoted from crew positions. Whether you have experience in the food service industry or you are just starting your career journey, Chipotle welcomes individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to an inclusive and dynamic work environment.

The position entails working at various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo, all essential in delivering the high-quality service and food Chipotle customers expect. Team members are encouraged to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a memorable customer experience. Chipotle values employees who bring a positive attitude, a passion for helping others, and a willingness to learn how to cook and work collaboratively.

Chipotle also offers numerous benefits to support its employees' well-being and development. These benefits include tuition assistance covering 100% of select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, free food during shifts, medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, holiday closures, competitive compensation, and opportunities for both full-time and part-time roles. The company prioritizes advancement opportunities, exemplified by its commitment to promoting from within.

As a people-first company, Chipotle Mexican Grill prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels. The company is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diverse backgrounds and ensures equitable treatment in hiring and employment practices. Chipotle also accommodates qualified applicants with disabilities, providing reasonable accommodations as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act and relevant state or local laws.

Joining Chipotle means becoming part of a brand that is not only focused on serving nutritious food but also dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture that celebrates individuality and shared purpose. If you are passionate about food, customer service, and being part of a mission-driven company, Chipotle offers a rewarding work environment with room for growth and development.
