Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a leading fast-casual restaurant chain revolutionizing the fast-food industry by offering responsibly sourced, classically cooked real food prepared with wholesome ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Founded on a mission to cultivate a better world, Chipotle has set itself apart by creating restaurants that prioritize quality and sustainability, while fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment. With locations across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle remains unique among large restaurant companies by owning and operating all its restaurants in North America and Europe. The company is not only committed to serving delicious, better-for-you meals but also to advancing sustainable farming practices and leading innovation in digital technology and sustainable business practices within the food industry.

At Chipotle, employment is more than just a job; it often represents the start of a rewarding career. The company offers robust training programs and clear career advancement opportunities, with over 80% of managers having been promoted from crew positions. They prepare all food by hand every day in their restaurants with no freezers, microwaves, or can openers involved, reflecting their commitment to freshness and authenticity. Every team member is trained across various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo, enabling them to build confidence and versatile skills. Chipotle values exceptional customer service and encourages a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in its restaurants, where each team member plays a key role.

The Crew Member role at Chipotle is ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic work environment where passion for food and service meets growth opportunity. Whether you are experienced or new to the workforce, Chipotle welcomes enthusiastic individuals who exhibit a friendly and positive attitude. The company values passion for helping others, willingness to learn, and effective communication. As a crew member, you will partake in an inclusive culture aimed at cultivating teamwork, learning, and continuous development. Chipotle offers full and part-time positions to accommodate different needs, ensuring a flexible and supportive working arrangement.

Compensation at Chipotle is competitive and includes numerous benefits designed to support employees' personal and professional lives. These benefits include tuition assistance with full coverage for select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, free meals, medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, holiday closures, and clearly defined pathways for advancement. Chipotle is dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion, making it an equal opportunity employer. The company also offers accommodations to applicants with disabilities to ensure fair hiring practices.

By joining Chipotle, you become part of an organization with a deeper purpose—one that champions sustainability, quality food, vibrant communities, and a team-oriented culture. The Crew Member position is your gateway to a fulfilling career in the food industry, where your efforts directly contribute to cultivating a better world for customers, farmers, and employees alike. If you’re interested in making a difference while developing valuable skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment, Chipotle offers the opportunity to grow and succeed.
