Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years old or older
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands for handling items
  • Ability to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl

Job Qualifications

  • No prior experience required
  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using American money and measurement units
  • Ability to apply common sense in carrying out instructions
  • Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables
  • Crew Leader Certification (optional)
  • Shift Supervisor Certification (optional)

Job Duties

  • Provide service and guest courtesy that exceeds customer expectations
  • Greet customers upon arrival
  • Suggest menu items and answer questions about products
  • Record customers orders accurately
  • Stage customers in serpentine area to maintain smooth flow
  • Select and assemble requested food items on serving tray or takeout bag
  • Serve cold drinks, hot beverages, and desserts
  • Receive payment and process transactions
  • Assist customers with questions or complaints
  • Retrieve raw food stock and place at appropriate station
  • Perform food preparation duties
  • Maintain orderly eating and serving areas
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
