Job Description

White Castle, America's first fast food restaurant, proudly stands as a pioneer in the quick-service dining industry with a rich history spanning over 103 years. Known for inventing the fast food model and introducing the iconic Slider, White Castle has grown from a small family-owned business into a beloved and trusted brand with a strong national presence. Throughout its century-long journey, White Castle has remained committed to its core values of quality, customer satisfaction, and community, making it a Certified™ Great Place to Work® and earning accolades such as being named one of the "10 Most Innovative Dining Companies" by Fast Company and an honoree on the Fortune Best Workplaces in Retail™ list.

At White Castle, the culture is deeply rooted in family values, with a fourth-generation family leadership that genuinely cares for its employees, fostering a supportive and safe work environment. Team member safety, health, and well-being are paramount, especially considering the evolving challenges of the modern workplace. White Castle’s dedication to creating a harmonious balance between work and life demonstrates its commitment to being more than just a workplace, but a community where every team member is valued like family. This award-winning fast food establishment is seeking friendly, fun, and energetic Crew Managers to join its dynamic team.

The role of a Crew Manager at White Castle is integral to the smooth operation and success of their restaurants. Candidates for this position should have previous food service or management experience and embody leadership qualities that are caring, responsible, and trustworthy. As a Crew Manager, you will have a variety of important duties that include organizing shift schedules to ensure optimal coverage, handling cash transactions accurately, managing inventory to avoid shortages or waste, and overseeing customer service to ensure every guest leaves satisfied. Your leadership will motivate and energize team members, helping to nurture an environment of cooperation and mutual respect. Additionally, you will work hands-on in the restaurant by preparing food orders, operating the fryer and griddle, managing the cash register and drive-thru, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the establishment. This position offers an exciting blend of leadership and frontline responsibilities, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy fast-paced work environments and thrive in roles that require multitasking and people management.

White Castle offers competitive compensation starting from $18.65 to $24.00 per hour, with pay reflecting experience and qualifications. Along with weekly pay and an annual holiday bonus, employees benefit from paid time off, comprehensive medical plans, dental and vision reimbursement, life insurance, 401(k) plans, profit-sharing opportunities, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). The company also provides perks such as free uniforms and meals, scholarship opportunities, promote-from-within career growth pathways, and community volunteer initiatives that foster a sense of belonging and pride. If you are passionate about leading teams, delivering excellent customer experiences, and growing with a historic and innovative company, White Castle offers a rewarding career you crave.
