This franchisee operates independently from McDonald's USA and is responsible for all employment-related matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, staffing, discipline, supervision, and scheduling. McDonald's USA has no involvement in these decisions and will not receive any application details or interview-related information.

The franchise offers a vibrant workplace environment focused on personal growth, flexible hours, and a welcoming team culture. The franchisee is proud to provide employees with multiple opportunities for advancement, valuable job training, and support towards educational goals. Employees at this franchise find satisfaction in meaningful work, great benefits, and the chance to develop leadership skills while contributing to a business that delivers delicious food and positive experiences to customers.

As a Maintenance Person, you will play a vital role in keeping the restaurant clean, safe, and fully operational. This position supports management by maintaining high standards of cleanliness both inside and outside the facility and by ensuring that the restaurant's equipment functions effectively. Your specific responsibilities may include filtering oil fryers daily, managing outside grounds, cleaning various areas such as equipment, windows, stock rooms, and restrooms, unloading delivery trucks twice a week, emptying the trash compactor, changing light bulbs, and cleaning HVAC/exhaust units and the roof from debris. This role is essential to create a pleasant environment for both customers and staff.

The Maintenance Team works with the necessary tools and training to succeed in their duties and is supported by a positive and energetic team that is invested in growth and the success of the business. This job is well-suited for individuals looking to build skills in the hospitality industry, gain experience with equipment maintenance, and be a part of a team-oriented workplace.

Employees enjoy flexible scheduling with work hours posted two weeks in advance, enabling them to effectively plan their personal lives, pursue education, and participate in team activities. The franchise also offers accrued paid time off including vacation and sick days, a high school diploma program free to crew members, and access to college tuition assistance of up to $2,500 annually. Moreover, employees can benefit from tuition-free college education through partnerships with four different colleges and enjoy discounts with a wide range of companies including Canon, Apple, and Beats by Dre.

Additionally, the franchise runs friendly competitions between stores and within the team that reward participants with exciting prizes such as pizza parties, dinners, gift cards, and other fun incentives. To top it off, employees receive free meals on every shift worked and a 30% discount on meals on their days off. This support from the franchise creates a balanced, enjoyable environment aimed at retaining satisfied team members who view their job as a stepping stone to a successful career.

If you are motivated, proactive, and interested in growing your career while working in a fast-paced, supportive restaurant setting, this Maintenance Person position offers a compelling opportunity to apply your skills and reap the benefits of a well-supported work environment.
