Sook Pastry is currently seeking a quick and confident cook to manage the crepe station within their bustling kitchen. This role involves preparing both sweet and savory crepes to order during busy shifts, showcasing skills in fast-paced food preparation while maintaining attention to detail and presentation. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, capable of staying calm under pressure, and who enjoys interacting with customers. The crepe cook will be responsible for ensuring that their station remains clean, organized, and efficient throughout their shift, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the bakery.

This position is customer-facing and fast-paced, blending the energy of a breakfast diner with the quality and presentation of a French café. The cook will have the opportunity to engage directly with customers at the crepe counter, enhancing their experience with friendly and attentive service. Beyond cooking, the role includes light prep duties and occasional support with front-of-house tasks, providing a varied and engaging workday. Candidates with experience in short order or fast-casual kitchens will be especially well-suited for this role, although previous experience making crepes is not required, as training will be provided.

Applicants should be available to work nights and weekends, which are the busiest times for the bakery. The ideal cook will also have barista experience, including espresso-making and latte art skills, as this strongly preferred background will allow them to contribute to the broader operations of the cafe.
