Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience preferably in upscale or boutique dining establishments
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical stamina to endure long periods standing and perform kitchen duties
  • willingness to relocate or commute if necessary
  • reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
  • multi-unit or hotel kitchen experience considered a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional culinary experience
  • proven experience as a sous chef or in a similar leadership kitchen role
  • strong leadership and team-building skills
  • knowledge of scratch cooking techniques and fresh ingredient preparation

Job Duties

  • Mentor and train culinary team members to enhance skills and foster continuous learning
  • collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to develop innovative menu items and improve kitchen operations

  • manage kitchen staff schedules and workflow to ensure efficiency
  • tackle challenges proactively with a solutions-oriented approach
  • oversee daily kitchen activities and ensure smooth service during peak hours
  • adapt to dynamic hospitality environments and perform effectively under pressure
