This dynamic environment caters to a diverse clientele who expect top-tier guest service, high-quality café offerings, and smoothly managed operations. The company operates in the fast-paced food and beverage sector within the hospitality industry, where delivering exceptional customer experiences consistently is paramount to their ongoing success and industry reputation. The venue is known for its lively atmosphere, especially on the casino floor, and focuses on fostering an environment where guests feel welcomed, satisfied, and valued.
This role is an opportunity for a leadership professional to join the team as the Casino Coffee Bar Shift Manager. Successfully performing in this position requires not only operational acumen but also exemplary leadership qualities. The shift manager will oversee the smooth operation of both the Hotel and Casino Coffee Bars, managing team members and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Flexibility is crucial for this role as it demands working various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the venue’s operating hours and guest flow. Compensation is determined based on experience, reflecting the importance of this managerial post.
The responsibilities of the Casino Coffee Bar Shift Manager are broad and impactful. Key duties include leading and supporting the coffee bar teams by conducting hiring processes, training new team members, appraising performance, and setting work schedules. The individual will manage daily operations effectively within the established budget, contributing to business profitability through cost controls and innovative promotion strategies. Operational tasks also include maintaining high standards of safety, sanitation, and organization. The manager is expected to foster a welcoming environment that sustains the highest levels of guest satisfaction and handle any issues or complaints with diplomacy and efficiency.
Furthermore, the shift manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining thorough knowledge of the menu, product offerings, and up-to-date service standards, ensuring a consistent brand experience throughout all shifts. The position requires mastery of standard office tools, including Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems, which are integral to scheduling, inventory management, and reporting functions. Candidates must be comfortable maintaining discretion with confidential information and adept at communicating with diverse stakeholders within the organization. Physical demands of the job include mobility to work throughout the property, handle various equipment, and perform duties that require a range of motion and the ability to lift moderate weight. Compliance with personal protective equipment protocols is mandatory for safety.
Work conditions encompass varying noise levels, especially higher noise on the casino floor, and exposure to food allergens such as nuts, dairy, seafood, and gluten. This position demands an individual who thrives in a dynamic and customer-focused hospitality setting, is motivated by leading teams, and is committed to operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.
