The Food Preparation role within Legends & ASM Global is a key position designed for individuals who excel in dynamic, fast-paced culinary environments. This role requires dedication, attention to detail, and a strong knowledge of culinary preparation in high-end settings such as upscale clubs or restaurants. The position involves following strict food safety protocols, ensuring quality and portion size standards are met, and maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. The Food Preparation team member plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service and food quality that aligns with the companies’ mission to exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities include preparing food according to company policies and standards, maintaining proper food temperatures, and supporting the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including shelves, walls, floors, and drains. The individual will also be responsible for the proper handling and care of kitchen equipment, following guidelines related to appearance and uniform standards, and participating actively as a collaborative team player. The working environment challenges the individual to adapt swiftly to changing trends and customer needs while fostering a positive team atmosphere.
This role is ideal for candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably supplemented with formal culinary training. Candidates should have two to three years of experience working in fast-paced, high-end dining establishments. The position requires flexibility to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels are necessary for success in this role. Advanced proficiency in cooking techniques, mastery of knife skills, knowledge of ingredients and seasonal availability, and the ability to create balanced flavor profiles are essential qualifications.
