Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving history acceptable to the company
- ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (no THC)
- must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role
- full-time associates must be able to work additional hours including overtime based on business need
- ability to lift up to 70 lbs and push/pull up to 400 lbs with assistance
- must wear safety composite shoes
- must be at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- minimum 1-year of truck driving experience operating a 16ft or longer straight truck or comparable experience
- high volume package delivery experience
- basic English language skills both verbal and written
- ability to use technology such as GPS and Proof of Delivery devices
- strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned routes
- load truck as required depending on volume
- ensure safe work practices and foster safety culture
- organize and load product utilizing manifest for efficient delivery routes and schedules
- provide customer support and accept product returns
- use technology including GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices
- maintain cleanliness of vehicle and perform pre-trip inspections
