The Cover Delivery Driver role at Staples is integral to the success of its supply chain operations. This full-time position offers a weekday schedule from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 4x10-hour rotation that provides a day off in cyclical fashion. Drivers in this role are vital brand ambassadors, responsible for transporting office supplies on various routes to ensure customers receive timely deliveries. Cover Delivery Drivers primarily fill in for vacations and employee absences approximately 50% of the time, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in managing diverse route assignments. Responsibility extends beyond driving to include loading and organizing products based on delivery manifests to optimize route efficiency. Customer service plays a prominent role, with drivers expected to provide exemplary support, troubleshoot issues, and process product returns as needed.
