Job Description

Aimbridge Hospitality is a leading hotel management company renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences through its commitment to excellence and innovation. With an extensive portfolio of upscale properties across the nation, Aimbridge combines operational expertise with strategic vision to maximize property performance and customer satisfaction. Their properties are known not only for their modern amenities and premier locations but also for their dedicated management teams passionate about hospitality. One of their recently renovated properties near the University of California Riverside exemplifies Aimbridge's dedication to quality—offering guests beautiful rooms with modern decor, soothing color palettes, and a suite of complimentary amenities tailored for both business and leisure travelers. The newly designed lobby features flexible workspaces, an inviting lounge, complimentary high-speed internet, and a fully equipped business center, positioning the property as a premier destination in Riverside, CA.

The role of General Manager at Aimbridge is pivotal to the success of the property and the overall guest experience. As the General Manager, you are the cornerstone of operations, responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day functions while leading strategic initiatives that enhance financial results and service excellence. This position calls for a dynamic leader who is adept at juggling multiple responsibilities—from crafting innovative sales strategies to driving budget optimization and cost control. You will oversee the staff, fostering a strong team culture grounded in support, motivation, and performance coaching, thus ensuring that every team member contributes to a welcoming environment that guests can appreciate.

Being the face of the property, the General Manager represents the hotel in the community and with ownership, building beneficial partnerships and acting as an ambassador for the brand. You will rely heavily on data-driven systems and technology tools to streamline operations, improve decision-making, and maintain rigorous compliance with corporate and regulatory policies. This is a full-time role that offers a competitive benefits package after an initial waiting period, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan. Additionally, Aimbridge is excited to offer Daily Pay to eligible employees, enhancing financial flexibility and employee satisfaction.

The ideal candidate for this General Manager role is someone with a robust background in hotel or hospitality management, possessive of keen financial acumen and an ability to inspire teams and engage guests effectively. Your expertise in managing revenue streams, controlling expenses, and leveraging sales channels will be crucial to keeping the property successful and competitive in the vibrant Riverside market. If you have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership abilities, and a vision for excellence, this role is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a prominent Aimbridge property with a reputation for excellence and guest satisfaction.
