The Cook Prep role is a part-time position with shifts from 6:30 am to 11:30 am, two days a week, requiring open availability including weekends and holidays. This position also includes being on call for occasional banquets. The Cook Prep serves as the culinary backbone in the hotel’s kitchen, responsible for preparing high-quality meals efficiently and with great attention to detail. This includes food preparation for multiple outlets such as the Café, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria, and Banquets. Essential skills involve cold food preparation, meat slicing, coffee and tea brewing, and maintaining a sanitary and safe kitchen environment. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced culinary setting and values teamwork and effective communication.
