Job Requirements

  • At least five years of progressive hotel experience in Rooms or Food and Beverage or a four-year degree with 2-3 years experience or a two-year degree with 3-4 years related experience
  • Supervisory background required
  • Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure
  • Must hold or obtain certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid

Job Qualifications

  • At least five years of progressive hotel experience in Rooms or Food and Beverage
  • Supervisory experience in a hospitality setting
  • Ability to remain calm and objective under pressure
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in recruiting and staff development
  • Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems and financial data management
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service excellence
  • Certifications or ability to obtain Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid

Job Duties

  • Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and partnering with the General Manager
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure smooth hotel operations
  • Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff
  • Facilitate ongoing employee development through training programs
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and guests
  • Manage financial information and support hotel operations through data analysis
  • Utilize Windows Operating Systems for efficient management and reporting
  • Enforce professional appearance and grooming standards among staff
  • Deliver exceptional guest service with a positive, service-focused attitude
