With a newly upgraded state-of-the-art lobby, the property offers guests enhanced flexibility and a variety of amenities to elevate their stay. At the heart of this experience is The Bistro, a versatile dining area serving a quality breakfast, refreshing drinks, and dinner options during the evening hours. Guests can enjoy a menu featuring diverse entrees and small plates complemented by an extensive craft beer selection. The hotel also boasts inviting and adaptable common spaces where guests can work or unwind with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi access throughout the property. This role is a wonderful opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. As the Assistant General Manager, you will serve as a crucial partner to the General Manager, helping to oversee multiple departments and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the hotel. When the General Manager is unavailable, you will take the reins and maintain high standards across all functional areas.

Your responsibilities will include managing hotel profitability by collaborating with various teams, identifying and solving operational challenges swiftly, and fostering a workplace culture that supports ongoing staff development and excellence. You will also play a vital role in recruiting, hiring, and training guest services staff, ensuring each team member has opportunities for growth through comprehensive training programs. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will maintain clear, effective communication with both guests and employees, reinforcing a positive and service-oriented atmosphere.

In addition to leadership and operational duties, you will handle essential financial aspects, utilizing your proficiency with data analysis and financial management tools. Comfort with Windows Operating Systems and other technological resources will be key to managing reports and daily systems efficiently. Setting a professional tone through standards for appearance and grooming reflects the high level of service expected from all employees and exemplifies the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.

Overall, this position offers a rewarding career path in hospitality management, with a supportive work environment, competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits.
