The Front Desk Agent plays a pivotal role within this esteemed establishment by serving as the first point of contact for guests and representing the hotel’s core values of teamwork, respect, integrity, and passion. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations with efficiency, ensuring that check-ins and checkouts are handled swiftly and smoothly to maximize guest satisfaction. Your warm and welcoming demeanor will ensure that guests feel valued and comfortable from the moment they enter the lobby.

In addition to greeting guests, you will provide information and direct them to appropriate hotel departments for any questions or special requests related to food, laundry, concierge services, or housekeeping, maintaining professionalism and courtesy in all interactions. Your role also includes presenting final bills promptly and accurately while keeping the front desk and lobby areas orderly. Staying informed about hotel policies, rates, promotions, and local events will enhance your ability to provide guests with comprehensive assistance. Given that part of the job involves prolonged standing and handling items up to 50 pounds, physical stamina and attention to detail are important aspects.

This full-time position typically involves evening shifts from 2-10 pm or 3-11 pm, including weekends and holidays, and offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $16, with the potential for higher pay based on experience.   • must have excellent English communication skills and be able to read, write and speak fluently

Job Duties

  • efficiently manages the operations of the front desk, ensuring minimal time is required for check in and checkout
  • warmly and professionally welcomes all guests
  • directs guests to appropriate hotel staff for assistance with questions and special requests regarding food, laundry, concierge services, or housekeeping
  • treats requests with professionalism, tact, and a courteous manner
  • ensures prompt delivery of final bills to guests
  • ensures the lobby and shared areas are neat and orderly
  • keeps updated knowledge of hotel policies including room rates, discounts, special offerings, and community events
  • maintains knowledge of upcoming events, local area, and hotel offerings
