The Bistro Food and Beverage Team Member role at the Courtyard Boise Downtown is a dynamic position vital to maintaining the high standards of food and beverage service in the hotel’s bistro dining environment. This position encompasses a wide variety of responsibilities, including food preparation, cooking, serving customers, bartending, kitchen support, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and inviting atmosphere within the bistro. Working closely with front desk staff and other team members, the Bistro Food and Beverage Team Member enhances the guest experience by providing prompt, courteous service and quality food and drinks. With a shift primarily in the evenings from 3pm to 11pm and some weekend and holiday work required, this position is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, offering flexibility to suit different schedules. The role offers a competitive wage of $16 per hour in addition to tips and gratuities, recognizing the value and effort of the team member’s contributions.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, techniques and safety standards preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
