The Courtyard Bloomington Normal hotel is a premier hospitality establishment located just a block off Veteran's Parkway in Normal, Illinois. Centrally positioned near Illinois State University, this hotel serves a diverse clientele including visitors to major corporations such as State Farm Insurance, Country Financial Insurance, and Mitsubishi Motors Manufacturing of America, as well as tourists and business travelers exploring the Bloomington Normal area. Known for its commitment to excellent guest service, the hotel offers easy access to local attractions such as the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Miller Park Zoo, Children's Discovery Museum, and various shopping and dining venues including Eastland Mall and The Shoppes at College Hills. We are currently seeking a dedicated Front Desk Supervisor to join our vibrant team. This pivotal role is the heartbeat of hospitality at the Courtyard Bloomington Normal hotel, responsible for ensuring every guest feels genuinely welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will lead the front desk team with energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism, creating an atmosphere where exceptional service is the standard and memorable guest experiences are the goal. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in revenue and rate strategies to help boost room revenue while maintaining great value for guests through ongoing promotions and packages. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in the hotel or related field
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Compliance with certification requirements including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid

- Address guest concerns and workplace issues promptly and effectively while maintaining safety and standards
