Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least six months courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier packages with equipment or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations including medical exam
- Neat appearance and professional conduct
- Ability to work safely and remain alert
- Compliance with company policies on vehicle operation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Knowledge of the station's service area
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for safety and communication
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Demonstrated adaptability and dependability
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
- Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
- Perform related customer service functions
- Adhere to federal motor carrier safety regulations and company driving policies
- Maintain neat appearance and professional demeanor
- Perform other duties as assigned
