The Courier/Swing Driver/DOT position at FedEx is a critical role responsible for delivering and picking up packages efficiently and courteously within the station's service area. This position involves operating company vehicles safely while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations, including those set by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). The role requires the individual to check shipments for conformance to FedEx's features of service and provide essential customer service as the face of FedEx in the community. Employees in this role will cover assigned routes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and pickup of packages, and will be expected to perform other duties as assigned to support station operations.

Working in this position offers a competitive pay rate starting at $23.52 per hour, plus an additional $2.00 per hour pay premium for all hours worked. The availability of variable shifts Monday through Friday provides flexibility for employees while supporting the dynamic needs of FedEx’s logistics network. The position requires neat appearance and professional demeanor since customer contact is frequent. Moreover, candidates must meet strict federal motor carrier safety qualifications including medical exams and maintaining a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated.
