This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $24.81 and is based on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Courier/Swing Driver/DOT position involves operating company vehicles to provide prompt, courteous, and efficient delivery and pickup of packages. The courier is responsible for verifying shipments against FedEx features of service to ensure accuracy and conformance to company standards. Employees in this position will cover assigned routes within the station's service area, performing customer service functions and other related duties as assigned.
This role requires a strong knowledge of the service area, excellent human relations skills, and the physical ability to handle packages of varied weights safely and effectively. The courier must adhere to all federal motor carrier safety regulations (FMCSA), maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and demonstrate dependability, adaptability, and professional courier methods.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months courier experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- Ability to maintain alertness and safe work behavior
- Neat appearance
- Medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA regulations
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages
