The driver/operator position is full-time with a scheduled workweek from Tuesday through Saturday, approximately from 7 am to 4 pm. The compensation package includes an hourly wage of $22.10 plus a $2.00 per hour pay premium for all hours worked, reflecting the value FedEx places on this role. Candidates for this position must fulfill specific regulatory and safety requirements, including a medical exam as per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA) and the ability to operate vehicles safely in varied conditions. A minimum age of 21 years and the capability to read, speak, and understand English for safety communication are mandatory for eligibility. The physical demands include the ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and safely maneuver heavier shipments with the help of equipment or assistance.
