Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Valid Indiana operator's license
- Good driving history
- Understanding of Indiana traffic laws
- Ability to read and write at an appropriate level
- Strong customer service skills

- Experience in driving or courier services preferred
Job Duties
- Drive throughout the city and surrounding areas ensuring timely pickup and delivery of laboratory specimens, supplies and other items to and from the hospital
- Review client specimen request information for accuracy and proper packaging
- Assist with sorting of client reports
- Assist with sorting of deliveries according to specimen type and department required
- Keep a daily activity record indicating number of trips, destination, arrival/departure times and the number of requests
- Maintain a good driving history and comply with all traffic laws of Indiana
- Provide strong customer service to hospital staff and clients
