The Courier role at Pace plays a vital part in the company’s laboratory operations by ensuring the safe and timely pickup, transport, and delivery of environmental samples and materials. This position helps maintain the integrity of each sample, which is crucial for producing accurate scientific data that safeguards communities and ecosystems. The Courier is expected to operate within the parameters of safety and compliance, supporting staff and management and contributing to process improvements. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in environmental science logistics within a professional and collaborative environment that aligns with Pace’s core values. This is a full-time position with a shift from Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The hourly wage is $18.00, with compensation influenced by factors such as geographic location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity. Pace also considers market conditions, budget, and organizational guidelines for final salary offers.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a related role is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain all required licenses and certifications
- Knowledge of safe driving, customer service, and sample transport principles
- Ability to learn and follow organizational policies, procedures, and transportation protocols
- Comfort using basic computer applications and maintaining documentation accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good judgment, professionalism, and discretion when interacting with others
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Pick up
- transport
- and deliver samples, documents, and materials as needed
- Review, complete, and process documents, databases, and related information for sample pick-up, transport, and delivery
- Prepare assigned vehicle for daily operations, including documentation, safety checks, and basic maintenance needs
- Provide support and assistance to staff and management related to sample transport procedures
- Assist in researching issues and recommend solutions to improve processes and resolve customer, staff, or management concerns
- Help ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, seeking guidance or escalating issues as needed
- Contribute to team efficiency by offering suggestions and actively participating in team efforts
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment aligned with company values
