We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals for the position of Courier/Logistics Associate based in Knoxville, TN. This PRN position involves working primarily on weekends during second shifts, specifically Saturdays from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. While this role is not benefits eligible, it serves as an excellent opportunity for those passionate about contributing to healthcare while maintaining a flexible work schedule.
As a Courier/Logistics Associate with Sonic Healthcare USA, you will play a vital role in the patient care process by ensuring the safe and timely transport of reports, records, medical specimens, and supplies between the laboratory and various healthcare provider locations. Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility are crucial for success in this role, as you will be trusted to manage critical healthcare materials with care and professionalism. You will also have the support of an all-star team committed to safety, compliance, and quality control.
This role requires confidence in operating vehicles under various weather and traffic conditions, as well as the ability to navigate routine hazards on the road while following all safety protocols. Sonic Healthcare USA provides the necessary tools for the job, including a vehicle, maintenance support, and a gas card, ensuring that you have what you need to perform your duties effectively.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years
- Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints without supervision
- Physical capability of light to medium lifting up to 50lbs
Job Qualifications

- Experience in customer service and effective communication skills
- Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes over 2 years is preferred
Job Duties
- Transport reports records supplies and medical specimens between laboratory and healthcare provider locations
- Ensure proper specimen handling and safe operation of a motor vehicle
- Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service
- Champion safety compliance and quality control
- Operate vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions
- Maintain communication with the logistics team and supervisors
- Follow all regulatory and company policies regarding specimen transport
