This particular opportunity is located in Gulfport, Mississippi, and offers a part-time position that is benefit eligible. The role involves working Monday and Friday, with additional shifts to cover when the regular driver is off, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. As a vital member of the Sonic Healthcare USA team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of medical specimens, records, supplies, and reports between laboratory and healthcare provider locations. This role is essential to the patient care process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of specimens and information, which directly impacts patient outcomes. The driver must exhibit reliability, excellent customer service skills, and a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Interaction with a variety of clients requires a professional demeanor and the ability to operate efficiently under time constraints without close supervision. The physical aspect of the job includes the capacity to perform light to medium lifting, normally up to 50 pounds.
