The Delivery Driver position at Carlile Transportation plays a critical role in the company’s operations by ensuring all goods are transported safely and within compliance standards across various locations and environments. This role is responsible for operating sub-commercial driver license (sub-CDL) equipment such as speeder vans and courier trucks to execute deliveries. The driver will conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and operational standards. Ensuring that cargo is secured according to local, state, and federal regulations is crucial to this position.

Beyond driving, the Delivery Driver supports warehouse activities, including picking up orders and preparing them for delivery. Maintaining clear communication with terminal dispatchers and warehouse personnel is necessary for coordinating delivery schedules and handling on-the-road challenges. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate logs, responding promptly to customer inquiries, and assisting others during multi-person deliveries when required.
