The Server position at our restaurant is a vital role that directly impacts the guest experience and overall satisfaction. As a Server, you will be the frontline ambassador, greeting guests promptly and courteously, presenting specials and menu options, and ensuring seamless service throughout the dining experience. The role involves taking accurate orders using the Point of Sale system, delivering food and beverage items efficiently, maintaining an organized and clean service station, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Valid Food Worker Card if applicable
  • Minimum of one year serving experience preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to carry trays and be on feet for long periods
  • Teamwork and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to operate computerized POS system
  • Ability to make change and process credit card transactions accurately
  • Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid Food Worker Card if required by state or county
  • Minimum one year of serving experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods

Job Duties

  • Greets guests promptly and courteously
  • Reviews specials and menu options with guests
  • Services food and beverage including order-taking, delivery, and clearing
  • Maintains service station cleanliness and proper set-up before, during, and after shifts
  • Inputs orders into the Point of Sale system accurately
  • Confirms order accuracy and runs food from kitchen to guest
  • Ensures guests have complete orders cooked to satisfaction
  • Monitors guest satisfaction throughout the meal
  • Provides drink refills and pre-bussing services
  • Delivers checks promptly and completes transactions
  • Adheres to all state and federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies
