The Counter Sales Representative role based in Culver City, CA, is a critical position within Airgas' retail operation. This role involves partnering closely with customers who require industrial, medical, and specialty gases along with welding equipment and essential supplies. The representative serves as a trusted guide, advising customers on the appropriate tools, hardware, and materials necessary for their projects to be completed successfully. Through demonstrations and product insights, the sales representative helps customers pioneer innovative solutions that enhance their work efficiency and quality.
This position works Monday through Friday with no weekend shifts, ensuring a balanced work schedule for employees. Airgas provides personal protective equipment (PPE) required for safety, underscoring the company’s commitment to a safe working environment. The Counter Sales Representative will adhere to company policies including the use of PPE, fostering a secure environment for employees and customers alike.
The Counter Sales Representative’s duties include providing excellent customer service to both internal and external partners, accurately completing transaction paperwork, managing order entry and reconciliation, coordinating communication with customers and team members, and contributing to strategic outbound calls to support branch growth. Additionally, this role involves maintaining showroom displays, stocking shelves, and coordinating cylinder movement and pallet organization to enhance the customer experience.

Job Duties
- Responsible for adherence to company policies including safety and use of personal protective equipment

- coordinates the transfer of merchandise between locations to meet customer needs
