- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product, warehouse, or sales environments
- Excellent customer service skills

Job Qualifications

- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product, warehouse, or sales environments
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus
- Attention to detail in handling transactions
- Availability for occasional overtime
- Ability to operate in a drug-free workplace
- Background in gas, welding, or safety supplies is an asset
- Familiarity with SAP, Google, or MS Office applications
- Detailed understanding of SAP and PROS functionalities
- Ability to communicate clearly and warmly with a wide variety of people
Job Duties
- Responsible for adherence to company policies including safety and use of personal protective equipment to ensure a secure environment for everyone
- Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external partners fostering understanding and long-term relationships
- Ensures all required paperwork is accurately completed including coding, costing, and pricing
- Partners with customers to identify the best tools and procedures for their specific tasks and demonstrates equipment use to build customer confidence
- Manages order entry and processes transactions
- assists the team with reconciliation of deposits
- Coordinates via phone, e-mail, and in person with customers and team members to provide helpful information on costs and delivery
- Contributes to an outgoing call strategy to support the continued growth and success of the branch
- Coordinates the transfer of merchandise between locations to meet customer needs
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a supportive manner with customers, vendors, and colleagues
- Stocks shelves and maintains welcoming showroom displays to provide an excellent customer experience
- Coordinate cylinder movement and pallet organization
