The Clinical Supervisor role is a crucial leadership position within BAART Programs overseeing the clinical team of Counselors and Counselor Interns. The Clinical Supervisor ensures that treatment and casework services are delivered according to all applicable laws, regulations and BayMark policies. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate documentation of patient services aligned with individualized plans of care, while also identifying additional physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of assigned patients. Financial stewardship is also a key component as the supervisor manages related expenditures and resources within the company’s budgetary framework.

Day-to-day responsibilities include providing direct clinical supervision, conducting training sessions related to Title 9 and other compliance issues, and monitoring productivity and performance of counseling staff through coaching and motivation. The Clinical Supervisor collaborates closely with the Clinic Director and Human Resources Manager on staff disciplinary actions and problem-solving. Oversight of treatment interventions, client incident responses, compliance reviews, and caseload management are also integral to the position. The supervisor plays an instrumental role in maintaining the quality of clinical operations, including participating in meetings, conducting chart reviews, and managing billing logs.

This role demands an individual who is compassionate and non-judgmental while demonstrating strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough knowledge of methadone administration and treatment compliance. The Clinical Supervisor also acts as a bridge between counseling personnel and clinic management, ensuring seamless coordination and support within the clinic setting. By taking on additional responsibilities such as site visits, FDA and State exceptions for take-home requests, and possibly assuming duties of the Clinic or Operations Director in their absence, the position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to impact both patient lives and clinical outcomes positively.

The Clinical Supervisor position requires an LADC credential in the state of Nebraska and a minimum two years of experience counseling in related settings. Candidates should hold a BA/BS in Behavioral Sciences or equivalent experience, with a preference for graduate-level education.
