The role of Supply Chain Cost Manager at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast is an essential leadership position responsible for providing financial insight and analytical support across manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role combines cost accounting expertise with advanced financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support operational decision-making and cost-optimization efforts. The Supply Chain Cost Manager leads and mentors a small team of Finance and Accounting professionals, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting while collaborating closely with operations and supply chain leadership.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience, and follows a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role occasionally requires travel to support business needs. As a Supply Chain Cost Manager at Coke Northeast, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing manufacturing, transportation, and overhead costs to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization. You will maintain accurate product and supply chain cost records, review financial documentation such as journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare key performance and operational reports.

In addition to overseeing budgeting and forecasting activities specific to manufacturing and supply chains, this role requires developing financial models for sourcing decisions, volume changes, and operational initiatives. The Supply Chain Cost Manager will collaborate with procurement, operations, and supply chain teams to provide financial insights that support strategic and pricing decisions. They will also be responsible for analyzing inventory performance, supporting inventory planning initiatives, and ensuring proper controls to maintain accurate inventory valuation.

The position emphasizes driving process improvements and adopting best practices in cost accounting, forecasting, and supply chain financial reporting. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or CMA designation preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or related roles
  • Ability to occasionally travel
  • Valid driver's license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets company requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or CMA designation preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial information
  • Proficiency in cost accounting principles and practices
  • People management experience, including oversight and development of Finance and Accounting staff, is preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Job Duties

  • Analyze manufacturing, transportation, and overhead costs to identify trends, variances, and cost-optimization opportunities
  • Maintain accurate product and supply chain costs, including materials, labor, overhead, and freight
  • Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate, complete, and timely month-end financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze cost and operational performance reporting, including KPI dashboards and variance explanations
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate sourcing decisions, volume changes, and operational initiatives
  • Partner with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to provide financial insight for strategic and pricing decisions
  • Analyze inventory performance, support inventory planning initiatives, and ensure accurate inventory valuation and controls
  • Drive process improvements and best practices in cost accounting, forecasting, and supply chain financial reporting
