The Corrections Oversight Worker at Aramark plays a pivotal role in supervising inmates within correctional food service operations to ensure that meal and food preparation adhere strictly to production plans and safety standards. This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of food service operations while upholding stringent security and sanitation protocols. The position also demands participation in food preparation and serving, never losing sight of the importance of food safety procedures and facility sanitation to guarantee the health and safety of all involved.

This role presents unique challenges and responsibilities, especially given the correctional environment, where security clearance and adherence to safety and operational protocols are mandatory. The Corrections Oversight Worker must exercise good judgment, oversee the work of inmates and food service teams, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Physical demands include lifting, bending, pulling, and standing for extended periods, and the use of personal protective equipment and uniforms is required.
