Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hotel management
- minimum 3 years experience in hotel management roles at recognized brands
- travel availability up to 90 percent
- valid driver's license
- successful completion of pre-hire drug and background screening

- minimum 3 years experience in management role at Marriott, Hilton, or IHG properties
- possess valid driver's license
- ability to communicate effectively
- strong organizational and analytical skills
- proven leadership and team-building abilities
- familiarity with brand specific property management systems
- ability to work with diverse teams and customers
Job Duties
- Serves as acting General Manager of hotels in transition and provides corporate support for projects as directed
- must be able to fill in for General Managers within an assigned area where there is a vacancy
- assumes full responsibilities managing all revenues, cost controls, team development, staffing, conflict resolution, and daily operations while supporting NHG's vision, mission, values, and goals
- trains and/or assists with employee training or shortages including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance
- maintains accountability and effective communication with corporate supervisions
- ensures corporate reporting deadlines are met and prioritizes financial results, guest satisfaction, and team spirit
- leads by example with integrity
- guides and directs management in the development, production, promotion and financial aspects of projects
- manages all revenue sources and ensures profitability and positive interdepartmental relationships
- creates annual budgets, monitors and measures hotel performance and provides coaching
- provides leadership by attracting and retaining top talent
- ensures training of General Managers, AGM's, FOM's and other department heads meets company and brand standards
- provides education on and enforces NHG Performance Standards
- travels between properties to train staff and performs functions of General Manager in absence
- performs other duties as assigned
