Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Functional knowledge of several MS Office applications, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Customer service driven
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to operate effectively with little or no immediate supervision

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Functional knowledge of several MS Office applications, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Customer service driven
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to operate effectively with little or no immediate supervision
  • One to three years of previous experience in a comparable administrative role preferred

Job Duties

  • Properly greet PETCO visitors and handle the reception area traffic in a manner that ensures a professional environment is maintained
  • Efficiently operate the PETCO switchboards, answer phone calls, take detailed messages and direct calls to the appropriate party
  • Prepare and produce paper visitor badges
  • Activate, deactivate and print access control badges with and without pictures
  • Maintain daily sign-in logs, both hard copy and electronically
  • Ensure lobby area is maintained in neat and orderly condition throughout the day
  • Remain cognizant of any suspicious activity occurring at or near front door
  • inform security or manager of same in a prompt, professional manner
