Job Description

Ellucian is a leading global provider of technology solutions and services designed specifically for higher education institutions. Serving approximately 3,000 customers across 50 countries and impacting over 21 million students, Ellucian’s mission is centered around innovation and transformation within the education sector. The company’s AI-powered platform harnesses the richest datasets available in higher education, delivering unparalleled efficiency, personalized experiences, and enhanced engagement for students, faculty, and staff alike. With decades of focused experience across the entire student lifecycle, Ellucian’s solutions range from recruitment and enrollment to retention, workforce analytics, fundraising, and alumni engagement. This commitment not only empowers institutions with best-in-class SaaS capabilities but also supports better institutional outcomes and student success through a vast ecosystem of partners and a robust user community exceeding 45,000 members.

Ellucian is currently seeking a Corporate Events Manager to join its Corporate Events Team and play a pivotal strategic role. This position involves partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and senior leadership stakeholders to amplify the company’s presence and impact at significant higher education events worldwide. The Corporate Events Team drives the strategy, planning, and execution of Ellucian’s participation in major higher education industry conferences, including the company’s flagship user conference, Ellucian Live. The Corporate Events Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of industry events and contributing to large-scale programs, emphasizing metrics such as ROI reporting, event data capture, and delivering insights to executives. Unlike traditional event management roles, this position focuses heavily on measurement, impact analysis, and decision support to guide Ellucian’s market presence and event investment decisions.

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end event planning and execution, including evaluating event participation, managing sponsorship agreements, and determining on-site presence. Collaborative by nature, the role requires working closely with key internal teams to analyze event performance, improve correlation between events and sales pipeline development, and refine post-event reporting models. This role demands a polished and credible presence when engaging with senior leaders and external partners, ensuring Ellucian’s Corporate Events Team is represented effectively and strategically. Additionally, the role supports Ellucian Live workstreams and event programming alignment with broader company messaging and goals. Offering a dynamic and impactful opportunity, the Corporate Events Manager will join a pioneering company that values innovation, strategic insight, and measurable results in advancing higher education success through technology.
