Job Description

Sephora is a leading beauty retailer known worldwide for its dedication to creating a space where beauty is inclusive, empowering, and deeply connected to community and individuality. With a strong presence in the United States and across the globe, Sephora blends innovative products with a commitment to diversity and employee engagement. The company prides itself on fostering environments where team members feel seen, valued, and inspired to bring their authentic selves to work. Sephora’s corporate culture emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and the pursuit of excellence, ensuring that its workforce is aligned with its core brand values and the evolving beauty industry landscape.

Located in the heart of San Francisco, at 350 Mission Street, Sephora offers a hybrid work environment that combines the energy and connectivity of its office space with the flexibility of remote working. The company is currently seeking a Corporate Events Manager to join its dynamic Human Resources team. This is a full-time, regular position offering an annual base salary ranging from $117,895 to $131,765, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and other factors.

As Corporate Events Manager, you will be at the forefront of planning and executing engaging internal events that build a strong sense of community and alignment among Sephora’s employees throughout the Americas. Your role will extend to supporting major field and external programs that promote the brand and strengthen organizational culture. This position requires a strategic, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining budget accountability and vendor relationships.

You will be responsible for overseeing events from their conception through to successful delivery, including live, virtual, and hybrid formats. This involves meticulous coordination of logistics such as timelines, budgets, registration, travel arrangements, and production needs. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is crucial, as you will act as a trusted advisor and primary contact point, ensuring that every event reflects Sephora’s brand identity and business objectives perfectly.

Your expertise will also be vital in overseeing vendor contracts and negotiations, managing event teams onsite including volunteers and production schedules, as well as troubleshooting issues proactively to minimize risk. Post-event, you will analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports that include budget reconciliation, attendance metrics, and feedback, which will inform continuous improvement of future events.

Candidates for this role should bring 5 to 6 years of corporate or agency event production experience with a track record of managing small to medium-scale conferences end to end. Experience with virtual and hybrid event production is essential, as is strong proficiency in project and program management tools, Microsoft Office, and specialized event management platforms. A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is required.

At Sephora, you will join a caring community of professionals passionate about innovation and driving industry standards forward while united by a common love for beauty. The company supports your career growth by offering ongoing training, skill development, and tuition reimbursement programs. Your work will be meaningful and impactful, contributing to positive change in the consumer, industry, and social landscapes.

Sephora provides an exceptional benefits package including comprehensive health plans covering medical, dental, and vision care, disability and life insurance fully covered by the company, a competitive 401k plan with company match, flexible spending and health savings accounts, as well as unique perks like a 30% product discount, gratis products, and exclusive sales on luxury brands. The company also prioritizes work-life balance through paid time off, flexible schedules, and protected leave, alongside access to mental health and financial wellness resources.

Diversity and inclusion are foundational to Sephora’s ethos, with a steadfast commitment to equitable hiring practices and accommodations for applicants with disabilities or medical conditions. The company welcomes all qualified candidates regardless of gender, race, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. Working at Sephora means belonging to something beautiful and making a difference where your individual voice matters in shaping the future of beauty.
