We are seeking a Corporate Events Manager to take ownership of the planning and execution of all internal corporate events. This role requires managing every detail of event coordination from initial idea generation to on-site execution. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience managing events of various scales, demonstrating a strong ability to prioritize, negotiate, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Essential responsibilities include brainstorming creative event concepts such as dinners and activities, managing budgets through development to post-event reconciliation, negotiating and booking venues, arranging food and beverage services, managing supplies and technical equipment, and ensuring appropriate event decor is in place. The manager will also act as a liaison with vendors, prepare and modify contracts as necessary, propose innovative process improvements, and oversee the coordination of event timelines and checklists. Additionally, they will maintain an internal events calendar and support major company offsites and external events such as trade shows. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the flexibility to work long hours and travel when needed to ensure the success of each event. Job Duties
- Own the execution of internal events from inception through completion including generation of event ideas, preparation of budget, identification of venues, contract negotiation, and onsite execution
- Brainstorm and source creative experiences including dinners and activities for events
- Financial management of event budgets, including budget development, management, and post-meeting reconciliation
- Lead negotiations for and book event space, arrange food and beverage, arrange supplies and audiovisual equipment, make travel arrangements, and ensure appropriate decor
- Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters
- Prepare and modify event contracts as requested
- Manage the coordination of event timelines, checklists, and project plans
- Plan and maintain an internal events calendar
- Support the execution of department and large company offsites by collaborating and coordinating with internal teams
- Support the planning and execution of external events and trade shows as needed
