Job Description

Client is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and impactful communications. Their team provides expert communications counsel and support across all functional areas, manages comprehensive marketing strategies, and maintains corporate branding programs that resonate with diverse audiences. The company is deeply committed to delivering value to its communities, serving environmental interests, and leading with compassion in all aspects of its operations. Client emphasizes a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture where innovation and purpose-driven work thrive.

The Senior Communications Representative role at Client is pivotal in supporting the Corporate Events Team to plan and execute memorable and effective large-scale corporate events such as leadership meetings and all-coworker business updates. This role requires a professional who can manage multiple complex projects, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and ensure each event aligns with Client's core Purpose - delivering for our hometowns, serving our planet, and leading with love. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to independently plan and execute smaller-scale events while also serving as the primary lead for major corporate events with in-depth attention to detail and quality.

The position necessitates an experienced communicator and organizer proficient in liaising with various stakeholders including department leaders, external vendors, and company leadership to create engaging and seamless experiences for attendees. Responsibilities include agenda planning, budget monitoring, vendor relationship management, and event evaluation to foster continuous improvement. The Senior Communications Representative will also contribute to enterprise-wide communications and serve on an on-call rotation for emergency communications responses, which may involve occasional evening and weekend commitments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, is essential along with the ability to craft compelling visual presentations. This role involves some travel for event planning and execution, reflecting the dynamic and expansive nature of the position.

This career opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in event planning within corporate environments, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills, project management expertise, and a desire to contribute to meaningful corporate experiences. Client values dedication, creativity, and a commitment to excellence, offering a platform for growth and impactful contributions within a supportive team environment. The ability to work independently and collaboratively, combined with a clean driving record and required licenses, are key to success in this role.
