Known for its emphasis on continuous learning and development, Protiviti supports its employees from the day they join through every stage of their careers, ensuring they have access to innovative training and development programs designed to foster professional growth and organizational success.
Protiviti is currently seeking a Corporate Event Planner with a focus on Learning Programs to join their team in Chicago, with additional responsibilities in Baltimore. This role is part of Protiviti's Global Learning & Development team, which is dedicated to designing and delivering exceptional learning experiences. The event planner will be responsible for managing logistics and execution of milestone learning programs that support employee development across all career levels, from interns to executive leadership. Working in a hybrid environment, this position requires the ability to work in-person several times a week and occasionally outside typical business hours to coordinate with global teams across different time zones.
The Corporate Event Planner will design, plan, and execute high-impact and memorable learning events, both in person and live virtual, within budget and in partnership with program leaders, meeting planners, vendors, executive leaders, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, securing and negotiating with venues, coordinating event materials and supplies, managing onsite logistics including audio-visual support, and maintaining organized event spaces. The role will also involve evaluating event performance and making recommendations for continuous improvement to ensure learning objectives are met effectively.
Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in dynamic environments where collaboration and agility are essential. The position requires strong analytical and administrative skills as well as proficient use of Microsoft Office 365 applications like Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. The Corporate Event Planner should be a skilled communicator capable of networking effectively and supporting team efforts to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
This opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $73,000 to $110,000 with an 8 percent bonus target, bringing the total cash compensation potential to between $78,840 and $118,800 annually. Protiviti provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans with employer match, paid time off, and family support programs such as adoption and fertility assistance. The company promotes a supportive and inclusive workplace that values diversity and offers equal employment opportunities. Protiviti is committed to providing reasonable accommodations during the employment process and maintaining a flexible hybrid work environment that balances in-person and remote work.
Joining Protiviti as a Corporate Event Planner presents a unique chance to contribute to impactful learning programs that empower employees and drive organizational growth while working for a respected leader in the consulting industry. This role is perfect for motivated professionals who are passionate about event planning, employee development, and delivering exceptional learning experiences in a collaborative global environment.
