Job Description

IDEXX, a leading company in pet, people, and livestock health, is seeking a Corporate Event Planner II to join the IDEXX Hospitality team. This role will focus on planning and executing internal corporate meetings and employee engagement events at the World Campus Conference Center (WCCC) in Westbrook, ME.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors' degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Hospitality Management
  • 3-5 years of direct experience planning corporate events
  • CMP certification and hotel experience are a plus
  • ability to interact with multiple levels of management
  • highly organized team player with excellent prioritization skills
  • detail-oriented, honest, and possess strong communication skills
  • experience in customer service and contract negotiation with external vendors
  • familiarity with event management platforms like EMS and Cvent preferred
  • ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations and adapt to a dynamic environment.
