Job Description
Management Services Office in Greensboro, NC, is part of Kintura's mission-driven organization dedicated to making a meaningful impact across multiple Life Plan Communities. Kintura is committed to providing seniors with high-quality living experiences that emphasize community, wellness, and personalized care. As a company, they prioritize innovation and operational excellence while fostering a culture of warmth and respect. This focus on resident-centered services extends across all facets of its operations, notably in dining programs that are essential to residents' daily enjoyment and health.
The role of Corporate Director of Dining Services is a critical leadership position within this dynamic environment. This executive role offers strategic leadership and operational oversight for dining programs across multiple Life Plan Communities under Kintura's portfolio. The Corporate Director is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of outstanding hospitality and culinary excellence. This involves working closely with community leadership teams to align dining services with organizational goals and resident needs. The position demands a commitment to regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and the implementation of best practices that promote continuous improvement. With the increasing emphasis on quality senior living experiences, this role is designed to champion a resident-centered dining philosophy that combines choice, quality, and meaningful engagement.
The Corporate Director of Dining Services leads initiatives that enhance satisfaction and overall dining experiences, ensuring that hospitality standards reflect dignity and personalized attention. This leader provides system-level consultation and accountability to local Dining Services Directors and Executive Chefs, maintaining both standardization and flexibility to meet local community preferences. Responsibilities also include conducting site visits, audits, and performance reviews to guarantee operational excellence. The role includes mentoring and training dining leaders to foster a robust leadership pipeline.
Regulatory compliance and risk management are vital components of this role, requiring strict adherence to federal, state, and local health department standards. The Corporate Director ensures readiness for inspections and develops corrective action plans when necessary. Financial management is another cornerstone, with oversight of budgeting and forecasting, financial performance monitoring, and driving cost control initiatives that do not compromise quality or resident satisfaction. Moreover, the role involves embracing innovation, staying updated on industry trends in senior living dining, culinary techniques, nutrition, and hospitality. The Corporate Director actively implements best practices and technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and elevate the dining experience.
Collaboration is essential as the Corporate Director serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership and other departments, including marketing and clinical teams. Frequent travel between community locations—up to 50-70%—is expected to maintain hands-on leadership across the portfolio. The work environment spans office, kitchen, and community settings, offering a varied and engaging leadership experience.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a passion for senior living hospitality and a proven track record in operational leadership. It offers a unique opportunity to influence resident experiences positively while driving organizational success in a meaningful sector. The position reflects Kintura’s commitment to fostering a supportive, innovative, and resident-focused dining culture across its Life Plan Communities.
